Our Journey: Key Welfare and Social Initiatives in 2013

Key Welfare and Social Initiatives by Our Community in 2013:
Under the dynamic leadership of our organization’s head, Muhammad Umar Shakir, our welfare community successfully executed several impactful social, religious, and public service initiatives throughout 2013 in Chowk Azam and surrounding regions. In June 2013, the organization facilitated a high-level coordination visit and dialogue with DPO Layyah, Ghazi Salahuddin, at the Press Club reporting room to enhance regional safety and public-police liaison. Moving forward in September 2013, a senior delegation led by our community head visited Islamabad to meet with Federal Minister Sardar Bahdar Khan Seharr, effectively advocating for local infrastructure development and government backing for welfare causes. During the same month, the community hosted a socio-religious assembly outside Jamia Ashraf Mazhari, bringing local leaders together to offer collective prayers for regional peace and the progress of community projects. Furthermore, driven by core humanitarian values, our organization launched an extensive public search and rescue campaign in October 2013 to locate a missing mentally challenged woman (Mst. Khushnood Bibi), setting up a dedicated support line to aid her family. Together, these milestones reflect our community’s enduring commitment to social welfare and public development
